Come on Baby, Tell Me What's the Word...
In what's sure to be a staggeringly non-consistent New Words Segment, I offer up someting else for the lexicon:
Stipe-spite \ n \ 1. petty ill will or hatred with the disposition to irritate, annoy, or thwart Micheal Stipe in ways that would really, really irritate him \ v \ 2. to treat Michael Stipe maliciously \ Stipe-spite is usually brought on by comments made by Michael Stipe or lyrics written by Michael Stipe that are perceived by the spiter (sic) as silly, frivolous, or derivative \ ex: After listening to Around the Sun I have a raging case of Stipe-spite. I'm thinking of going outside and spraying aerosal cans into the air. I might even buy a Humvee.
To witness someone who is possibly experiencing Stipe-spite check this out from I Me Mike.
